Host: Stephen

A major question from some is about performance in the winter and this stop can provide an excellent report on work to keep the panels clear of snow, resulting in no months in the past year when they did not produce more than they used.

4308-52 Street

Hosts: Morten & Krystal

Morten & Krystal are new to solar power, however, they have been renovating their home for 20 years to be more energy efficient and are happy to share the big and small details of what they have done.

4714-47 Street

Host: Nathan

Although a new set of panels, Nathan is not new to residential solar as he is also NEWO’s solar lead. This stop will provide some in-depth knowledge of the steps to consider on a solar install while thinking about how it fits along a trajectory of home energy efficiency renovations. If you have questions, Nathan is a great person to answer them!

47237 Range Road 201

Hosts: Lianne & Josh

This rural home includes a new energy efficient heating and cooling system and ground mount solar array.  Hosts Josh & Lianne will be providing outdoor tours and insight into the process of their energy efficiency journey.

GUIDED TOURS OF THE JEANNE AND PETER LOUGHEED PERFOMING ARTS CENTRE

Tours at 1PM & 3PM

The Jeanne & Peter Lougheed Performing Arts Centre is a unique 580-seat venue intended to celebrate our cultural achievements and provide access to performing arts in Camrose. The theatre is home to Canada’s largest integrated photovoltaic cell array, which blankets the entire 70-foot fly tower, including the north face. It is also the first theatre in North America to use entirely LED lighting, including the stage lights and those on the interior and exterior of the building.
